The TMD16 is a 16 in x 12 out digital mixer for live sound, streaming, and more in a compact design with a durable metal chassis and capacitive touch faders. Can I save Presets with the TMD16?
Yes, the TMD16 allows you to save presets.
To access presets, the user must go to the MAIN METERS OVERVIEW SCREEN and then press the center bottom button.
Presets will take a snapshot of all parameters of the mixer for easy recall. There is one factory preset which will return the mixer to factory settings and 9 user presets that can be saved, copied, and reloaded.
Does the TMD16 feature MIDI connectivity?
No, this device does not feature MIDI connectivity.
How does the mixer communicate with the App?
The app connects to the mixer via your device's Bluetooth connection.

How do I download and install the driver?
1. Go to altoprofessional.com/products/tmd16 and download the latest TMD16 driver for your operating
system.
2. Open the file you downloaded and double-click the driver installer file.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
How do I set the TMD16 as my default audio device?
Windows 11:
1. Use the included USB cable to connect the TMD16 to your computer.
2. In the Taskbar, locate the Volume Control "speaker" icon. Right-click the speaker and open Sound
Settings > Sounds, then select More sound settings.
Alternatively, go to Start Menu > Settings (System) > Sound and then select More sound settings.
3. In the Windows Sound control panel select the Playback tab and select USB Audio Codec as the
default device.
4. Click the Recording tab and select USB Audio Codec as the default device.
5. Click Properties in the lower right-hand corner.
6. In the new window, click the Advanced tab and select 2-channel, 16-bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality) as
the default format.
7. Uncheck both boxes under Exclusive Mode.
8. Click OK to close the Properties window.
9. Click OK to close the Sound control panel.
macOS:
1. Use the included USB cable to connect the TMD16 to your computer.
2. Go to Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup.
3. In the Audio Devices window, select USB Audio Codec in the left column.
4. Right-click USB Audio Codec, and select Use this device for sound input.
5. Right-click USB Audio Codec, and select Use this device for sound output.
6. Quit Audio MIDI Setup.
What does the FX mix out do?
The FX output is a mix of all tracks assigned to FX sends.
What does the FBX button do?
The FBX button automatically eliminates microphone feedback.
Does the TMD16 feature Gates?
No, the TMD16 does not have built-in gates.
How do the touch faders work?
The 100mm capacitive touch faders are very responsive and feature an LED to indicate the current position. The only way to change the position is to touch the fader at that location; this prevents the chances of changing a level by accidentally touching a fader.
Can the TMD16 transmit Bluetooth?
While the TMD16 is equipped with Bluetooth, it can only be used to receive an audio signal, and/or send and receive information from the Alto App.
